It Found Me - the long awaited sequel to 's no. 1 bestselling Paranormal Ghost Story, The House on Poultney Road.

106 Poultney Road should have felt empty after the death of her husband Richard, but Ellen was far from living alone. Questioning whether or not she should move from a house that she believed her late husband's spirit could be trapped inside, she must face a few demons of her own. Who was the man in black? And why did he haunt her family?
*****
Yvonne and Eric found their dream home in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire months before their second daughter, Stephanie was due to be born. What they did not know was that they were taking on a house with a dark history of its own and that their daughter would be drawn into the depths of the nightmares that resided there.
*****
Sometimes a soul can rest, another time it lingers between the living and the dead and it's when these two worlds collide that hauntings can have a traumatic effect on a family. Some people look for answers, they try to find a path in life to connect with the dead, but sometimes, through no choice of their own, the dead comes looking for them.
IT FOUND ME

It Found Me eBook Stephanie Boddy William Fruman

I purchased this book in the Kindle Store. I wouldn't normally write a review but I just had to this time to save someone some grief. This book is about alzheimers more than ghosts. It fast forwards so much they could have said yadda yadda yadda at times. This made no sense as a sequel and maybe even less sense on its own. Do not waste your time. I gave up at 61%. I would normally read a book of this size in a week or less, but had to end it when it was still there a month later and I didn't want to look at it any more.

It Found Me eBook Stephanie Boddy William Fruman Reviews

This is the sequel to the book The House on Poultney Road. Since I found that to be interesting, I immediately continued with this one.
I found this series to be a reasonable assessment of paranormal activity that happened to a family for generations. Why do I feel there's more truth than fiction?
After reading her first book I thought the second in the series would help me better understand this paranormal story. All I accomplished was making it harder for myself. Harder for me to believe this was a true story. Now I'm even more on the fence then ever before believing in the paranormal. Story a little confusing.
I'd have to say this book is not as good as the first but it's not horrible. It did make me cry at times because of the very sad parts! Overall, it is basically how these ghosts stay with a family over the years and didn't quite understand why. I do wish it would have explained why The Man In Black wanted Ellen so bad?! Overall, okay book...enough to keep my interest at least!
This was a perfect continuation of the first book, and I was so happy to be back in the world of these characters or actual people I guess, since it's based on reality. Truly recommend and loved how realistic it actually was, the author was a key to make it scary while staying realistic with that creepy factor remaining, the one that was ever-present from the first book! Will look for more from this author, this was a quick and fascinating read.
Reading both "The House on Pultney Road" and "It Found Me" I followed the four generations of the family which all began with Richard and Ellen. We learned about the usual ghosts running around the house appearing to most of the family. So this read like a pleasant novel of all of Richard's paranormal experiences. It wasn't scary, but it's about a family living casually with for 60 years with the spirits still around.
I read the first book about Poultney rd. it was great. Couldn't put that down either. The author really developed the characters in a way that really makes you feel like you know them and care about them. Whether or not you believe the stories are "true", doesn't really matter in the end because they are such great stories that are told very well. I highly recommend these two books to anyone who loves a great haunted house/ghost story. And the fact that some of it may be true just adds to the experience.
The story is well written it is part 2 of a series but could be read by itself it centers around a family and is told in a way that flows together very well and by the end of the book you have gotten to know every one I hope that there are more book by this talented author
